It’s a beautiful wondrous Wednesday here in West Michigan that has inspired me to move forward a very special casting call. I am looking for a special type of model set for an upcoming project on the special bonds that is only shared between mothers and their children or that between sisters. It is truly a wondrous sparkle in the eyes that as a photographer and a mother myself, I long to capture again with a different style of photography than what you see in these examples.

It’s that time of year where we starting thinking about swimwear. Don’t run and hide I know its a time that many of us dread, me included. Swimwear is hard to buy and still find that unique look that will make you stand out fashionably in the crowd. This year you will find bright and vibrant colors to choose from think of the Spring 2012 color trends those colors carry into many of the fashion lines for Spring and Summer. While shopping be on the look out for designs that have prints that remind you of the 50′s and 60′s, animal, tie died, and retro prints are strong in the line up. Also be on the look out for beautiful solids that have ruffles, lace, and crochet. Do not forget your swim suit cover-ups, tunics, mini dresses, and caftans will make you the fashionista of the beach.

sunny weather reminders
The sun is out and the temperatures have been summer like for us here in Michigan, so yesterday I spent a fantastic day at the beach enjoying the sunshine. After a few hours in the sun I was reminded of just how much we need to take care of our skin as the weather warms up and we head off for vacations to sunny locations. I admit yesterday in the joy of spending time with my family I forgot to take some precautions and have a rosy tone today.

Last week I introduced you to this year Spring color line up, today I am taking you a bit further with how to put the colors into your wardrobe. I am keeping the focus on two main colors this week tangerine tango and bellflower. The clothing choices will hopefully inspire you to go out and embrace the colors in your fashion creations.
